Rules

New dogs attending classes must provide proof of vaccination upon registration.

Dogs must be in good health before attending class. If a dog shows signs of illness, consult a veterinarian before attending.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and wear a flat collar or harness during class, unless instructed otherwise by the team. Retractable leashes are not permitted for safety reasons.

Owners must clean up after their dogs, and waste must be taken home as centre bins cannot be used.

Participants are expected to arrive on time for class. If unable to attend or running late, notify the instructor promptly with details given at the beginning of term.

We use reward-based techniques only; harsh punishment or aversive methods are not permitted.

Do not approach other dog and handler partnerships during class to prevent potential issues.

Bring any required training equipment specified by the instructor including but not limited to treats, toys, a mat and grooming tools.

Bring a water bowl for your dog; a communal bowl will not be provided to prevent the spread of contagious diseases such as kennel cough.

Inform the instructor of any concerns or challenges during training. For issues outside of class, contact the provided email address.

Children under 16 are welcome but must be supervised at all times during class.

Any behavioural concerns must be disclosed before registration to facilitate a successful training plan and prevent unforeseen incidents. Failure to disclose such issues, if they pose a risk, may result in a request to leave the class.

If you can’t attend a workshop/course after booking, let us know as soon as possible. We will try to fill your place, and if successful, you’ll get a full refund. However, once you’ve begun the course, we can’t offer refunds because your spot can’t be filled at that point.
